Sheriff Sales are held on Thursdays (excluding holidays) starting at 10:00 am in the lobby of the Chippewa County Sheriff's Department, 32 E Spruce St, Chippewa Falls. The Sheriff or Sheriff's Deputy holds the sales being a fair and impartial party.

Buyer's Fee on Day of the Sale:
10% down payment in the form of certified funds is required at the time of the sale of the foreclosed property. The down payment must be paid to the Chippewa County Clerk of Courts in the form of cash or certified bank check. Personal checks can not and will not be accepted.
All foreclosure properties are sold as-is and will be sold in the form of an auction, the highest bidder is awarded the property. It is the responsibility of the bidder to check for back taxes, liens, judgements, etc that may be outstanding and attached to the property.
